APEX LEGENDS GLOBAL SERIES ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FOR YEAR 4

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – November 30, 2023 – The Apex LegendsTM Global Series (ALGS) today announced its Partnership Program for Year 4, including the list of 12 teams that will join Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn in continuing to foster global ALGS fandom.

“Our competitors and participating esports organizations are foundational to our success,” said John Nelson, Sr. Director & Commissioner, ALGS. “We’re excited to innovate with our 12 partner teams to find new paths to prosperity. We also remain committed to working with all invested organizations around the world to build a sustainable ecosystem and deliver amazing experiences to our fans.”

In addition to financial support, the Partnership Program provides teams with resources to deepen ALGS fandom, including the opportunity to host team booths at ALGS events, create innovative competitive Apex Legends experiences, and more community-related benefits. The ALGS will actively collaborate with partner teams to identify additional engagement opportunities.

Partner teams were selected on a variety of factors, including previous ALGS tenure, competitive performance, and their commitment to growing the global Apex Legends community. The list of partner teams for Year 4 includes:

The ALGS Partnership Program has been in place since Year 1 and has allowed teams to provide crucial feedback and help shape the future of the esports ecosystem. EA and Respawn hope to continue to invest in and expand the program in an effort to support ALGS competitors and esports organizations.
