Fight your way up: Join the time-limited Tower Raid Open Beta and try a new co-op experience in Dying Light 2 Stay Human

We’re opening up Tower Raid for a limited three week open beta to gather community feedback on a completely new co-op experience.

Wrocław, Poland – June 27th, 2024 – Techland is excited to announce the launch of the Tower Raid open beta, a new co-op-focussed experience for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. For three weeks, from June 27th to July 18th, players will have the limited opportunity to explore this new game mode and provide valuable feedback to shape it even further. 

Tower Raid, born from the creative minds within Techland’s community, offers an action-packed and fast-paced co-op-experience. Players will team up to explore floors filled with traps, surprises, and hordes of zombies, each raid presenting a unique set of challenges. Successfully navigating obstacles and reaching the roof to fight the boss will reward players with a variety of valuable rewards, bringing players’ survival skills to the ultimate test. The open beta will feature new content releases each week, ensuring a dynamic and progressing gameplay experience. 

June 27 – Tower Raid launch

  • 12 floors
  • 20 modifiers
  • 5 new levels at Jai’s to progress through and 5 new rewards to unlock

July 4 – Update week 2

  • Adding a new “Elite Mode” difficulty – complete 4 (up from 3) floors against harder enemies and with tactical stamina on, but for better rewards
  • 3 new floors (15 in total now)
  • 10 new modifiers (30 in total now)
  • 4 new rewards (up to a total of 9)

July 11 – Update week 3

  • 7 new modifiers (up to a total of 37)
  • 3 new rewards (up to total of 12)
  • 2x Jai RP reward for completing Tower Raids

Tower Raid open beta will close on July 18th.

To access the Tower Raid, players have to unlock the second region on the map, visit Jai, and complete the “Lost Armory” quest, which then opens the Survivor Missions and Tower Raid.
