In 2024, Barbie is packing her bags and heading to the Barbie Getaway House, where kids can bring their imagination and creativity to life! This charming Barbie house features 4 play areas: a kitchen, bathroom, loft bedroom and movie corner.
 
The Barbie Getaway House is the latest initiative from the brand’s ongoing campaign ‘The Future of Pink is Green,’ which leverages the brand’s iconic association of pink – and how it remains synonymous with Barbie – alongside the iconic association of green with protecting the planet to communicate the steps we are taking  to contribute to  a more sustainable future in an easily digestible way for fans of all ages.
This playset is the first Barbie playset to use 70% ISCC-certified plastic material and features design cues that will inspire kids and that highlight more sustainable behaviors.
 
The possibilities of getaway adventures are endless with the 2024 Getaway House that includes:
o   A full kitchen with a slide-out table, dishware, 2 chairs, a towel and blanket.
o   Relaxing lounge for movie and game nights.

The Getaway House encourages children to care for the planet and inspires play centered around a more sustainable lifestyle by including:
o   Recycling and compost bins, plants, solar panels on the roof and an electric vehicle charging port to showcase sustainable living.
