Enhancing DayZ’s Survival Experience by Merging the Base Game with the Livonia DLC

Prague, May 20th, 2024 – Bohemia Interactive is thrilled to announce that a significant evolution is coming to the world of DayZ on May 27th, thanks to the merging of the base game with the Livonia DLC. This ambitious change, released as Redux Update 1. 25, aims to redefine and further enrich the player experience by merging the content of the two products into a single and unified project. All current owners of the DayZ base game will receive the Livonia DLC for free.

The fusion of DayZ and Livonia marks an important step in the game’s development strategy, which has been designed to streamline DayZ’s portfolio while significantly enhancing the value it provides to players. Although the maps of the base game and Livonia will remain separate, they will now coexist under the roof of one unified product.

Available for $49.99 USD/€47.99 EUR/£39.99 GBP, this update represents an increase in price. It offers greater value, however, than purchasing the base game and the Livonia DLC separately. Furthermore, in a show of appreciation for our community’s ongoing support, all existing owners of the DayZ base game will receive the Livonia DLC at no additional cost. 

We released a comprehensive experimental article and FAQ a month ago to prepare the DayZ community for the transition. This was done to ensure that all players are well-informed about the upcoming changes and can continue to enjoy DayZ without interruption. Additionally, as of today (May 20th), the Livonia DLC is no longer available to be purchased separately in order to streamline the integration and prevent any customer confusion.
