Bungie has globally launched Destiny 2: The Final Shape, the concluding chapter of Destiny’s decade-long “Light & Darkness Saga,” on all platforms. In this chapter, Guardians face their ultimate adversary, the Witness, and end the War of Light and Darkness. Players will explore a new destination, The Pale Heart, and gain access to the new Prismatic subclass, which combines Arc, Solar, Void, Stasis, and Strand energies. This subclass offers unprecedented buildcrafting options and new powers, including becoming Transcendent. Following The Final Shape, Bungie will release the first Episode, Echoes, on June 11, introducing new stories, activities, and rewards over three Acts until early October.

Get Ready for Action: Path of Exile 2 Early Access and Cross-Platform Play Revealed

During PlayStation State of Play, Grinding Gear Games announced that Path of Exile 2, the next-gen free-to-play Action RPG, will be available in Early Access on multiple platforms later this year. Key features include:

New Pokémon TCG Expansion: Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable

Launching on August 2, 2024, the Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game features Japanese woodblock art-inspired illustrations. Pecharunt debuts as a Darkness-type Pokémon.
Key products include the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box with 11 booster packs and the standard Elite Trainer Box with nine booster packs. Special collections feature Ukiyo-e style promo cards.
The set will also be available digitally on the Pokémon TCG Live app from August 1, 2024.

MultiVersus Announces New Characters

Warner Bros. Games has released a new MultiVersus cinematic trailer revealing Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Agent Smith from The Matrix as new playable characters. The free-to-play platform fighter will officially release on May 28.
Both characters will join the roster alongside DC Super-Villain The Joker in Season 1: Puns & Villainy. Jason Voorhees will be available at launch, with Agent Smith arriving later in the season.
The trailer also features heroes and villains from MultiVersus, including Wonder Woman, The Joker, Velma, Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian, Iron Giant, Rick Sanchez, Stripe, Finn the Human, and Cake the Cat.
